Trade enquiries and website data

LIAN Collection is operated by Lian Cultural Heritage Ltd in the United Kingdom. This notice explains how information submitted through the LIAN Trade website is used.

Information we collect

When you submit a trade enquiry, we may collect your business name, contact name, business email, website or social profile, country, business type, product interests, message, enquiry source and any products saved to your shortlist. We also record whether you have separately chosen to receive wholesale updates.

How we use it

We use this information to assess and respond to genuine wholesale enquiries, recommend suitable products, prepare quotations, understand which trade channels are useful, prevent spam and—only when you opt in—send occasional wholesale updates.

Legal basis and marketing choices

We process enquiry details because it is necessary to respond to your request and pursue a potential business relationship. Marketing consent is optional and separate from your enquiry. We do not sell enquiry data or automatically add every enquirer to a marketing list.

Storage, service providers and international processing

Enquiries are stored in structured website records and may later be transferred to an appropriate customer relationship management or automation service used by LIAN. We use service providers only where needed to operate the website, communicate with you or manage wholesale relationships, with appropriate safeguards where data is processed outside the UK.

Retention and your rights

We retain enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the wholesale relationship, legal obligations and business records. You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw optional marketing consent.

Analytics

With your permission, LIAN uses privacy-friendly first-party analytics to measure genuine visits, traffic sources, popular pages, broad device and country information, contact clicks and enquiry completion. This stores a random session identifier, not your name, email address, full IP address or full browser details. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may also be used when configured. Analytics starts only after you choose “Allow analytics”. You can decline without affecting the website, and can reset your choice by clearing this site’s local storage.
